10/16/09- Registered to retake the December LSAT (took the Sept LSAT)... Hopefully the second time around is much better!

11/17/09- Got an e-mail from UT today. They put my application on hold (but I expected this since I'm retaking the LSAT)

11/27/09- Interviewed with Vandy law earlier this week... Went well, incredibly nice alums

12/7/09- Crossing my fingers that my Dec. LSAT will at least be a point or two higher... Didn't finish LG or RC. Definitely a lot of guesses on the RC. I think I did ok on the LR so we'll see :)

12/18/09- Ahhhh, my application is under review at UofH. Now I'm incredibly nervous because I thought all the schools would place my app on hold until my Dec. score is released... Guess not. Now I'm wondering if I should e-mail them and tell them to hold? Hopefully they would at least not waitlist me this early....

12/28/09- Welp, my LSAT increased one point, not as much as I was hoping, but so it goes. At least I should start getting some decisions now...

1/14/10- My status checker at W&M changed to decision pending the day after it went complete. I've read on TLS that this is the "silent waitlist".... Hoping to hear good news from UH soon though. Still under review, but it looks like they haven't admitted anyone under 162 yet. Hopefully the 161s are coming soon!

1/22/10- Thanks Vandy for the rejection letter (DM 1/18). I was hoping for a WL... Grrrr. I went Decision Rendered at San Diego today so hopefully some better news soon.... It would be nice to have at least one acceptance before any more rejections...

1/25/10- Got my acceptance letter from USD today. So exciting to know that I'm going to law school :)

2/5/10- Rejection letter from SMU today. Honestly quite shocked. Yes, I'm below their medians, but LSP had me at 52%. The people that I saw that were held for further review from early decision have numbers below me... So I'm quite confused. Dallas would have been fun, but the beach in San Diego keeps looking nicer and nicer... And I also am glad I finally went complete at Pepperdine this week. Malibu sounds nice too :)

2/7/10- Sent out a last minute application to W&L. Didn't realize it was free or I would have done it a couple months ago!! Bummer, hopefully doesn't hurt my chances too much.

2/15/10- Noticed that I got WL at Fordham and rejected at UT on Feb 11th. Rough day. Not surprised about either really. If anything grateful for still being considered by Fordham. UT was my top choice so that really stinks but with my numbers I really shouldn't have been admitted anyway...

3/25- Got my rejection letter from Emory earlier this week, so my cycle is over as far as initial decisions. It went much worse than I expected-- definitely expected to get accepted at places like UofH and Pepperdine... Looks like I'm 95% going to USD. I was able to get them to renegotiate my scholarship to extend the $15,000 to my 2nd and 3rd year as long as I stay in the top 50% (shouldn't be too hard to do that). Originally it was just for the first year so that made me happy :)
