Not URM, but my GPA might get looked at differently because of my undergrad school's reputation. (i.e. I think it may be considered more like a 3.8 at many less-competitive schools.)

I think I have a good personal statement and very good letters of rec.

Softs include WE at a law firm and at the Pentagon, as well as min wage jobs for all of high school and college, Study abroad at Cambridge University with near-perfect GPA, strong upward trend to college grades, some community service and athletics.

Rather surprised by my BU waitlist... but now only the two holds and Penn left to hear back from!

Held at Harvard - Pretty surprised to not get a flat out rejection.
Annnnnnd rejected two months later. no shock there.

Held at Columbia.

Interviewed one-on-one for Georgetown, went well, but application has not updated since (Its been about ten days).

Put on special group within Preferred Waitlist for Georgetown. A little surpised because I'm above both medians. Going to stay on the waitlist.

Assuming rejected from Stanford from DLS, not surprised or upset really.

Getting REALLY anxious to hear back from NYU! Assuming waitlist.

with all the schools you have left! I'm sure some of them will turn out. About the GPA thing; it sucks, I go to a top 5 school (sounds like you do too), but most law schools don't care where your GPA is from since they only have to report the number to US News for the ranking. I think you'll hear positively from schools based on your LSAT score alone though! What's your top choice?
