03/25/10 - recieved denial from Idaho online status checker. bummer. it was kind of a long shot since the deadline was 02/15 and I took my LSAT on 02/06.

04/02/10 - Wyoming status checker "Decision Rendered" as of 03/31. No word on what that means. No mail or e-mail from Idaho either.

If anyone knows what "Decision Rendered' means please let me know.

04/05/10 received reject letter from Wyoming today.

04/07/10 decided to send in apps to Valpo and U of Pacific. they offered me a fee waiver so I'll see what happens. Still waiting........

04/08/10 L&C keeps changing the date on my status checker, but the status is still "File Complete", UofU still "In Review" and no word from Montana or Oregon.

04/14/10 UofU reject today

04/14/10 Wait list at Montana, called Oregon and L&C, they are swamped with apps and are still reviewing. Sent LOCI to montana.

04/23/10 denied lewis and clark. denied e-mail finally received from Idaho. What a bunch of turds. I pay them $50 and it takes them a month to send me an e-mail. low caliber institution.

04/28/10 accepted at valpo

05/07/09 considering hanging on for a shot at Montana. Wife and I discussed it and we're not too hot on Indiana living there after graduation. I'd rather go to montana anyway. We're western folk. , considering Valpo charges 35K a year. 4th tier school at 1st tier prices I think it might be better to hold for Montana or take a shot at it next year. retake the LSAT with a little more prep time. first time I only had about a month from decision to take it to the test time.

Any thoughts from anyone are welcome!

Still waiting on Pacific and Williamette, Oregon said the letter is in the mail.

05/08/10 Oregon said no. Valpo wants a deposit in a week. Kind of hard to let it go, but if its not the right fit, I think I need to move on.

05/19/10 what a weekend, I sent in the reject letter to valpo, and received another wait list letter from Pacific on the 14th.

On Monday received an email from Montana that I had been accepted. Sent in deposit and acceptance letter. Looks like I'm going to Missoula!

Fast turn around time on the wait list. Montana originally said that they would go to the wait list in June or July. it was kind of a shock they sent out acceptance this early. 05/15 was the deposit deadline. Must be a crazy year for apps.

Advice to anyone going through the cycle and reading this...start early....try to stay positive(it's very hard)....don't apply to schools you don't plan on attending, or states you don't want to live in, and send an LOCI to waitlist schools, it worked for me.
