*12/17/2009- BC- In via mailing to permanent address.

* Deferred to Regular at Cornell (forget the precise date...)

*1/12/2010- Full Scholarhip at Cardozo (phone call)

*1/19/2010- In at Washington and Lee (small thin envelope)

*1/20/2010- rejection e-mail from Virginia followed by a preferred waitlist e-mail from Georgetown.

*1/27/2010- UCLA! YES! (phone call)
- NYU- snail mail rejection

*2/5/2010- In at UConn via snail mail. Only reaches left now...

*2/11/2010- Snail mail: "on reserve" at Columbia....interesting, thought this was a guaranteed rejection...

*2/12/2010- Northwestern- "on hold" via email with link to status checker.

*2/19/2010- Duke Rejection Email

*2/23/2010- Texas Rejection via snail mail. A little surprised- thought it might at least be a waitlist. Maybe because I applied relatively late?

*3/22/2010- Oh, Michigan :(

*4/20/2010- On reserve at Cornell.

*5/21/2010- Admitted to Cornell off of reserve. Saw an e-mail in my gmail from Cornell and the first word was "Congratualtions". Pretty shocked.

*early June- made it to second reserve at Columbia. as baffled as you are.

I actually got a letter from UConn about the Dean's Scholarship a week after I got the acceptance letter. I don't know why they didn't notify me at the same time because I had already sent in my letter saying that I wouldn't be attending.

We're very excited about Vandy, but it looks like you have some really good options, too. You have extremes of climate with BC and BU on one hand and UCLA on the other. Are you leaning towards snow shovels or beach umbrellas??? Good luck with the rest of your applications!
