Additional info & updates

I applied last year under the lsn username "cougarlive." Last year I was wait listed at Cornell, Duke, UCLA, Boston U, and WashU in St. Louis, but none of them panned out.

I am hoping that getting my applications in EARLY this year, along with additional work experience will put me over the edge at the schools I would like to attend. I am extremely optimistic.

Last year I visited Columbia and Cornell.

12/16 Just got a letter from Columbia, telling me I'll be reconsidered for admission in late March--better than last year's straight rejection.

12/17 Just called Cornell to get my decision over the phone--reserve, again. I guess this means that these schools are really wanting to see a higher LSAT score. Hoping it's not a sign of things to come.

1/11 Just saw my Michigan status updated--couldn't log in to admitted students site. Not looking good.

1/19 Sent a LOCI to Cornell. Out at Michigan--though not surprised. All the motivation I need to start studying for the LSAT again.

1/22 Out at Harvard. Printing the email and putting it in my June 2010 LSAT study journal.

2/11 Went under review at UofC.

2/17 Out at NYU via snail mail.

2/23 Under review date at Duke changed from 11/16 to 2/23, hoping that means good news is on its way.

3/4 I think my status just changed to UR again at Chicago (or I am misremembering what the orig. 2/11 status said.

3/10 Rejected via email at Chicago.

4/14 Cornell decision changed to "Decision". Got the letter in the mail a few days later stating I was on "reserve."

4/19 Got rejection letter from Columbia--after being "held" from Early Action.
