Additional info & updates

Took the October LSAT and did much worse than expected, so I am retaking the December LSAT. Nervous about how the late application is going to hurt my chances, esp. with top 10 schools.

1-6-12: Not much improvement on my December LSAT but most applications are complete now. The waiting continues.

1-13-12: Accepted to U of Houston via status checker!! A safety, but my first acceptance....SO EXCITED!

1-16-12: Vanderbilt posted decision mailed on 1-12, but my completed date is 1-11. Seriously worried about the short turnaround time.

1-16-12: I worried for no reason...IN at Vanderbilt!! First school I'd actually like to go to, so I'm very excited!

1-20-12: Scholarships starting to come in! I've listed them over 3 years...W&L and Wake Forest are very generous...

Accepted at Georgetown! It was my #1 before this whole process started and I'm leaning towards attending.

lol... I'm glad my profile makes you happy! I put a lot of effort into my applications and, to a degree, I really did tailor each app to fit each school. Honestly, theyre all wonderful schools and after researching them, it was easy to write about why Id love to attend each one of them. I wrote a version of a "Why X" essay for every school, except NYU (because I figured that by applying ED, I showed them that I had done my research and was committed to attending). Who knows what works and what doesnt, though Best of luck to you Im sure youll end up somewhere great!
