Poor grades. Academic probation twice. One F towards end of school. No improvement throughout college. Yup, I've got some regrets. Too many things I wanted to do and not enough focus to do them all well.

Double major. Worked full-time doing HIV research at a prestigious research institute final three years of college. Had a great boss who opened a lot of doors and told me to focus.

6 years out of school doing cancer research. Track record of promotion. Several publications, 2 patent applications. Limited volunteer work. Had another great boss who taught me how to focus.

Thanks for the info. I have looked a little at San Mateo and some stuff out near Walnut Creek and Concord. I actually thought the 'Bay Area Resident' seemed a little fishy, like maybe he was really the guy on the BYU waiting list hoping I would get off. So I didn't give his post any attention. So, where are you headed? Thanks again for your help.
