Additional info & updates

I'm planning on studying International Law (probably further specializing in either Int'l Human Rights or Int'l Criminal Law), but I'm keeping an open mind for 1L consideration.

With such an average LSAT score and GPA, I think my choice will come down to the schools I've already been accepted to, and therefore I'll decide between USF, UC Davis, and UW. Does anyone have any thoughts - keeping in mind that I most likely won't be going into a firm post-grad and am not sure whether rankings will matter as much?

Notifications:

- UW, accepted: a thin envelope (kinda scared me at first) in the mail. The thick one came a week later.

- USF, accepted: 2 missed phone calls, before Alan Guerrero finally got in touch with me to congratulate me and offer a scholarship. Then a thick envelope in the mail.

- Boston U, rejected: the thinnest envelope of my life.

- UH Manoa, accepted: a semi-thick, but standard size small, envelope in the mail.

- UC Davis, accepted: status update online. Thick envelope came the next day.

- UC Berkeley, rejected: called admission to check application status.

- UC Hastings, waitlisted: email, finally.

On the UH acceptance (and the other great acceptances). Are you from Hawaii originially? It would be nice to find another local on the board! After leaving for the northeast right after hs, I don't think I could go back for more than family visits, but I hear UH has an amazing rep at the ls level.

congrats

HASTINGS

I'm not upset about being waitlisted at all. In fact, I'm just happy I wasn't rejected:) I found out by logging on to the hastings website. You should have been sent a Hastings ID number and then you should have created a password. I found out on the site first, then they sent me an email telling me to just keep waiting several more months. The email acutally says I wont find out until late July... Good luck to you, Hastings has been the source of a lot anxiety for me:)

I can't believe you haven't heard back from Hastings yet. At this point I will be attending. I hope you hear soon and that it's great news!
