haha, nope, no stanford or yale. i don't want to live in california ever and i haven't done anything cool, so yale (and the time required to write a 250) would've been a waste. looks like we're having pretty similar cycles, haha, except UChi hates me. where do you think you'll go?

yeah, I did. I think splitters are getting PR'd and people above both medians are getting in. I have a weird feeling that if there is a YP situation going on, that they feel like it's worth the risk to take people above both medians, but that there's too high of a chance of high splitters going elsewhere to make taking someone who helps one median and hurts another. I'm not saying I got YP'd (and I don't think I did) but if that is happening, I would tend to believe that this is the reason. tl;dr- people above both medians are probably fine, people far above one and a little below the other will probably get in later in the cycle.
