12/09/08 -- In at Texas via phone call with scholarship offer that included in-state tuition! Definitely excited about Texas. Also, it's nice to get the first acceptance in my pocket.

12/16/08 -- In at UVA via phone call from Dean Trujillo! Absolutely ecstatic. UVA is definitely one of my top choices.

12/18/08 -- Decision Sent box is filled on the Vandy Status Checker. Hoping to get some good news soon!

12/20/08 -- Big box o' goodies/acceptance from Vandy! Definitely looking forward to visiting in the spring.

12/22/08 -- Decision from Michigan via the status checker. Unfortunately, I'll be away from my mailbox for the next 2-3 weeks. Blah.

01/05/09 -- Got the accepted email from Dean Z! Looks like the 12/22 decision at Michigan was good news (and is still sitting in my mailbox at home)!

01/05/09 -- Acceptance email from Dean Tom at UC Berkeley! Stoked and looking forward to ASW in sunny Cali!

01/12/09 -- Accepted via email to Duke tonight! It's about time they showed some love to us 168s.

01/21/09 -- Email acceptance from WUSTL! It took a bit longer than I expected, weird to hear back from reach schools before you hear from your safety!

01/21/09 -- Well, I'm considering this to basically be an intermission in my cycle. 7-0 so far, and I feel beyond blessed. I know I didn't provide a ton of info in my profile, but if you would like extra info, feel free to message me!

01/23/09 -- Thin envelope from Michigan offering a 30k Dean's Scholarship! Utterly floored.

02/04/09 -- Received an email from Duke offering me admission into the Graduate School in the master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering! Really cool, but really scary to me at the same time.

02/17/09 -- "Hold" letter from Columbia.

03/06/09 -- Chancellor's Scholarship from Vandy for 24k/yr! That's close to enough money to make Vandy attractive relative to my other acceptances...

03/10/09 -- 8k/yr 3k grant from Duke in the mail today! I'm definitely happy and blessed to receive this money, but just a little more would have made my decision for me. Double it, and I'll sign on the dotted line, Duke!

03/26/09 -- 10k/yr from UVA.

03/26/09 -- Successfully renegotiated my scholarship at Duke, yay!

04/13/09 -- Withdrew from like tons of places. (UVA, Mich, Vandy, WUSTL, Columbia, Berkeley, Texas)

Grats on the Michigan scholy! Baring a ridiculous offer from Duke or acceptance at Stanford, Columbia, or NYU, I would say that is where you are going. Hopefully Michigan will show me some love soon too. Maybe I will see you in the Fall. Go Engineering majors!

i can't think of anything in particular i am just in the process of trying to make that final decision...you'll really like the law school...its completely rennovated and new...enjoy the visit and have a good time!

I will graduate May 2010 with a BS in M.E...would LOVE to do the joint JD/MS degree from Duke! Totally jealous of you! Any advice to help me get in there at all (or general advice, for that matter!). I should be able to apply plenty early...LSAC has all of my stuff processed, it's now simply a matter of writing a few essays. Let me know anything you've got for me! Go Engineers!
