-- Wrote a Why Michigan. This was genuinely my top choice from the beginning, so I was sad about this one--and somewhat shocked, tbh. Not because I thought I had it in the bag, but because I had worked so hard for it. It was disappointing.

-- Invited to complete a Kira interview for UT on 1/18. Completed interview on 1/19.

-- Invited to complete an alumni interview with Georgetown on 2/14. Interview completed on 3/1.

-- Wrote a Why Duke.

-- Did not write a Why UVA.

-- Applied to Berkeley super late because they finally waived my application fee. This was on the heels of my Michigan rejection, so I was feeling insecure and wanted to send out another application. This application was also experimental. I submitted a different personal statement from the rest and added a diversity statement. P.s. and d.s. were essentially combined for all others, but since Berk allows 4 page p.s., I opted to switch things up and go with an alternate I had written.

-- Did not interview w/ Vandy this year, but did complete and in-person alumni interview last year that I think went well.

-- For UT, also received the Non-resident Tuition Exemption.

After all this hard work, I decided to hold off on law school for now. I may forever regret not taking Duke up on their offer--who knows?
