Miami--Applied on a whim. First acceptance. Probably won't attend unless I can get a substantial scholarship.

Tennessee-- This is looking like the school I'll be attending. In state tuition is hard to pass up. I want to practice in Tennessee anyway.

Georgia--Applied a while ago. This is probably my number one choice. My numbers are probably not going to make it, but here's to hoping!

Washington and Lee--Applied on a whim. Rejected pretty quickly, so I can only assume I was an auto-ding. Too bad.... but it looks like they have a pretty small incoming class, so, meh.

Washington University--Not really expecting to get in, but it's worth a shot!

Georgia State-- I was put on hold last week. Kind of a bummer. I'm thinking about submitting a LOCI, but we'll see.

Duke--Fee Waiver! It was worth a shot, anyway.

I really like UT, but it's hard to get in-state tuition for out of staters like myself. I got the scholarship information in the mail a few weeks AFTER I received the admissions letter. Best of luck to you :)

I asked about it on the phone, which is probably the only reason she told me. 30k seems to be the going rate for all out-of-staters with around our numbers, don't know about instate. I got my letter today (two days after the call) so I would say you don't have long to wait. Good luck and congrats!!!! It's a great school, though I wish they'd given me a bit more money
