Extra Curricular Information

Helping Coach a High School Girls Lacrosse Team. Was a mentor my sophomore year to freshman who were statistically more likely to drop out. Out of State, undeclared freshman are apparently the most at risk of not returning.

I'm assuming Degree Granting GPA means Major GPA? That was a 3.7. I really don't know.

Also, I graduated from my schools Honors College, which requires a Senior Thesis, plus 30 hours of elective Honors classes and a certain number of core Honors classes.

Also, I double majored, in both History and Political Science.

The GPA difference is due to the fact that I started out in the wrong major and ended up switching midpoint my Sophomore year.

I would have loved to have gone to Charleston, but no scholarship pretty much sealed the deal for me. :(

Hey man that's as much a guess to me as it is to you! Maybe they had people with talent like mine but you represented something to them that was a bit more rare???? Who knows. I would only have gone if I'd gotten admitted right out, as it's far away from where I am!
