ft internship, comm service, the usual...

12/15/06--accepted to fsu (thick white envelope); phone call 2 days later
12/20/06--accepted to mercer (thin small envelope)
1/15/07--accepted into gsu (big white envelope)
1/18/07--set up official visit with fsu in feb.; hope it goes well
1/30/07--withdrew from mercer (no hard feelings here, just got into places I know I'd rather attend); waitlisted at temple and withdrew application from here as well (beginning to warm to schools in the south and particularly schools that want me...Temple's loss.)
2/10/07--accepted into villanova (thick white envelope)
3/01/07--accepted into pitt; also given 8000/year scholarship renewable if I can maintain a 3.0 (didn't expect this...hmmm)
3/18/07--first rejection (from emory); little note in letter about how they like to accept those that have family alums (i.e. me)...yeah right, good riddance.
3/27/07--attending GSU in the fall. I'm from atlanta and it is where I intend on working after graduation. Furthermore, for the money, you cannot beat GSU's price tag. I wish everyone else the best of luck on the rest of the application grind.
