12/03/18: Invitation to group interview with Georgetown (Did not write any optionals or Why Georgetown essay)

12/10/18: Nov LSAT releases scores, got a 178 Woo!! Deciding to apply to Stanford, Harvard, and UChicago.

12/17/18: Georgetown group interview, think it went well.

12/20/18: Accepted by Michigan, Woo!!

1/03/19: Invitation to interview for Darrow at Michigan

1/04/19: Preferred WL by Georgetown, guess either I suck at interviews or yield protection after the 178
Bummed but not that bummed because Michigan!

01/15/19: Accepted through email by Northwestern, woo!

01/28/19: Had Darrow Interview, think I tanked this.

02/05/19: Got the hold tight email from NYU. Pretty bummed because I applied to AnBryce and I think a decision after March takes me out of the running.

02/06/19: Interview request from Cornell.

02/07/19: Waitlisted at Columbia. Boo.

02/11/19: Visited NYU, took a tour, observed a class. Love. This. School.

02/12/19: Completed Kira Cornell Interview.

02/13/19: Got the call from Dean Z, FULL DARROW. Over the moon. Pretty set on going blue.
Later got the WL from uPenn but didn't care. Full Darrow.

Hi! Congratulations!! Does being a STEM major help in covering up for a low GPA? Also- is work experience important in getting into a good college? Thanks!

youre a first-gen URM Pre-Med. Of course your GPA will skew lower, but i dont think some schools care....if you didnt get the Darrow would have thought it would be prudent to reapply with perhaps new narrative/writing.
