Thinking about applying to a few more backup schools in California like Whittier, California Western, Western State, and Thomas Jefferson. I know my personal statement and LORs are amazing, but I want to make sure I get in somewhere... Just trying to stay positive and hope I can stay in the SF Bay Area!

Heard from Hastings today via email. They told me they put me in the regular admissions applicant pool... At least it wasn't a rejection?

No word from any schools... Admissions committees must be on winter break too! Sent an updated transcript to LSAC because my gpa for this Fall was a 3.7! Hoping for some good news in the new year... Good luck to everyone!

UC Davis has changed my status to "Evaluation in Progress" as of 12/21/11! Looks like most of my decisions will be coming in after the holidays.

Stanford finally received all my application stuff and my status changed to "file submitted for review". Golden Gate also updated my status to "Application in review". Hoping to hear some good news from schools soon...

In at golden gate with the 30k per year faculty scholarship as long as I stay above a 3.0! Quite enticing. Also, gave me a spot in the honors lawyering program.

Obviously, the rejections are rolling in. I'm very satisfied I get to stay in San Francisco, but I'm really hoping to get off USF's waitlist. I know I'll be happy and work hard where ever I end up. Hope everyone else is having a great cycle... it's almost over!!

Happy Friday the 13th! Waitlisted at USD which pretty much ends my cycle. I've submitted my deposit at GGU and I am going to stick out the waitlists I am on. I'll update here as I find out decisions!

Went to golden gate's open house and was very impressed. Perhaps attending wouldn't be as bad as I thought!

Thanks. At this point, I'm going to attend TTech. Half the cost in tuition and a third at living costs. Also much higher ranked. If I had a full ride like you, I would definitely attend. GL to you, missy.
