Additional info & updates

Originally applied in the fall with a 172, but retook in February and received the new score in March, so most of my cycle was not with a 178. Also, somewhat oddly, certain schools refused to consider the February score for either admittance or scholarship purposes this cycle. This may explain some of the waitlists.

5/17: Accepted off of the Yale waitlist! Part of me is really sad not to go to Chicago, but Yale is likely the only thing that could have drawn me from it.

Good luck, future applicants! My advice to you:
1) Apply early.
2) If you think you can do better, put in the work and retake the LSAT. It's a gamble with few risks, and a simple lack of desire to take it again isn't a great excuse for something that has such an impact on your life trajectory.
3) You only live once, so don't forget to enjoy the ride. 8)

For being such diehard Wolverines, Michigan should have treated us better ;) We've had some similar acceptance packages (though you've got me by a bit) -- best of luck!

150k from Northwestern is tough to pass up...I'm in the same spot - T6 vs. full tuition at NU...any idea which way you are leaning?

re: photo finish...me too. Thats a lot of $ and NU is a great school but I am really struggling to make up my mind - hopefully visits will help. Good luck with your decision

I'm green with envy but that Yale acceptance is totally deserved. Congrats!
