Additional info & updates

Took the October LSAT and didn't do too well :( but the good thing is my score wasn't much of a surprise. Going into the test I was scoring between 156-160 on my practice tests and was hoping that on the day of the test I would have a miraculous score improvement..that did't happen, lol.

After speaking with my pre-law advisor he told me that anything above a 165 would give me a good shot at the schools that I'm applying to. So, I decided to hold off on my applications and try to improve my score for the December test so I would be a more competitive applicant. On my practice tests leading up to the exam, I was scoring between 167-171 so hopefully my actual scores will be somewhere in the range.

1/6: got a 160 on my Dec. LSAT, not as high as I was shooting for but still an improvement nonetheless

1/17: UR at UVA
1/18: UR at Duke

1/21: Got my letter from Vandy in the mail today! Also got an email from Howard saying I'm in. Feels good to have somewhere to go next year :)

1/26: UR at NYU and Penn
1/28: Completed at Georgetown

2/7: In at Georgetown via Accepted Students Website!!!!!!!!!! :)

2/8: Just got the w/l email from UVA. Not too bummed out about it but hope this doesn't start a trend of bad news from the other schools I'm waiting on...

2/8: UR at Chicago and Duke (again)
2/9: UR at Penn

2/13: Got the email saying that I got into Duke earlier today!! Super excited as Duke was one of my top choices and I'd be perfectly content with attending next fall...this will make waiting on my other schools a lot easier to deal with.

2/25: w/l at Michigan and PENN & rejected at Northwestern....today is NOT my day :(
