Thank you for your post, it's really helpful. Since writing that I've started hearing that the competitiveness isoverblown, though the curve is still a little scary.
May I ask what area of law you're doing and how it's going? I have experience in a patent defense team and I plan on entering the patent bar with my computer science background and specializing in finding invalidity defenses in negotiation and litigation. Patent law isn't something Hastings specializes in so I'm wondering how job and
internship prospects might look. Do you have any insight you could lend?
