MA Political Science - GPA 3.7

Via status checker I have been placed on a wait list... which is kind of torture because my app has been complete for over 4 months now... and I still don't have a decision!

Got a "hold" letter from GSU law saying a second review was needed and to expect a final decision 'by April'. 3-13-09.

I am officially obsessed with checking my status via the GSU status checker.

I got the same letter from GSU and my status checker says "Under Review by Committee, Requires a Second Review". At least I know someone else got that letter too.. hope it all works out! Good luck! :)

I'm obsessed with the status checker also! It is the only school I am waiting to hear back on and the one I want to go to! I called last week and they said they should have all their letters out by April 15th. Hope that helps!

I feel the same way! I don't understand why they are making us wait so long. I sent my deposit to FSU because I needed to have a backup plan. I didn't respond to the email because I wasn't sure what to say... did you?

I got a letter in the mail rejecting me.. I do not fully understand because my LSAT is their average and my GPA is much higher than their average. The attorney I work for now said it could be because I am out of state and they are required by law to accept at least 75% in state students (which is really good for you!). If you haven't heard anything yet chances are still good for you. They are probably waiting to see who decides to attend before sending out the acceptances. Just sucks that they made me wait SO long just to say no. I have been calling to talk to someone and nobody gets back to me. SO ANNOYING! I am moving to Atlanta on the 21st with my boyfriend anyways! Goodluck to you!! -Alyson

Since it looks like you are asking about GSU, I'm not sure. I have to send in the slip this week. I'll probably stay on it for the time being. I just need so other dominoes to fall before I can be sure. Good luck!

Hey! Well I called the second I got my rejection letter to ask what I could do. They said that I could ask for a reconsideration of my application, so I spoke with Dr. Jester-George and told her that I would be willing to go either part time or full time and asked that my application be reconsidered. It was and I was accepted for part time! Also, what I heard some people are doing if they are waitlisted is sending letters stating that they are thankful for being waitlisted and should Georgia State decide they would like to accept you then you would automatically go there. Something along those lines. Hope that helps! Let me know what happens. --Alyson
