Additional info & updates

Good News:

SMU - 2/27/06 - Big Envelope with all sorts of info
3/3/06 - Small envelope offering $22,000 a year

Boston University - 3/10/06 - Voicemail congratulating me on my acceptance. I was on a flight and it was nice to get that news as I got off the plane.

GW - 3/21/06 - E-mail informing me of my acceptance

CU - 3/23/06 - Phone call letting me know about upcoming open house and that my packet was on the way

Waitlist news:

3/9/06 - Boston College - Snail mail with some info on the waitlist.

3/28/06- UT - Most depressing news by far :( ... Status check said waitlisted on March 28th. I'll just keep my fingers cross I guess...

3/29/06 - William and Mary - Regular mail with waitlist form. Not concerned about this but curious why I wasn't accepeted.

Bad News:

3/10/06 - Berkeley - Thin snail mail. Sad but sort of expected.

3/18/06 - Stanford - Thin beige envelope. Nice letter.

3/22/06 - Georgetown - Thin beige envelope. (The status check changed to decision on 3/17/06)

* 4/10/06 - Deposits in at CU, BU and GW. I am from Boulder so I have seen CU law. I am going to visit BU and GW and make a decision after that. It really depends on if I get any fin aid money from BU and GW.

4/17 - Thin letter from UPenn (about time!)

Thanks for your comment. Hope you hear good news from UT soon! So far UT is my top choice. I am out-of-state, if this info helps. Good luck!

on GW! As for WM, why send out a fee waiver if you're not going to accept? Isn't that kind of false advertising on their part and creation of undue expectations on ours? I'm tempted to withdraw my app - aka *I'm* breaking up with *you*, sorry... haha. Anyway, good luck with your waitlists and schools yet to be heard from!

Hates its undergrads who actually did stuff. Unless you're the SG president.

Wondering if you are still considering CU. If not, please withdraw because I am praying to get in. Thanks and good luck.
