Thanks! That was where I needed to be. I'm starting to look for jobs up there now so hopefully I can move up early enough to maybe get in-state tuition. I heard that they'll extend that to you if you're living up there and have at least a year lease signed somewhere...
I haven't received an email confirm from them yet, but they cashed my check and confirmed over the phone that my application was complete.
Hey congrats on Rutgers!
I'm definitely pumped...gotta love that in-state tuition!
Yeah, b/c with in-state tuition and my company chipping in 10K, it would take a lot of money at another school.
I haven't even gotten the letter in the mail yet. Do you think they offer part-timers $$?
Yeah, I just got my packet in the mail. No money mentioned either. Rutgers is my #1 at this point too, it'll just depend on what sort of loans I can get. Stetson is in my backyard, and as an alumni of their undergrad, I've got a shot at money their I think. We'll see....
It was a standard sized envelope with a letter informing me of the waitlist, a sheet to fill out if I do want to be on the waitlist, and a envelope to send that back. I'm really hoping to get in there. I know 84% of people with my numbers eventually get in, so unless I did something stupid on the application I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get in eventually.
No, actually working FT in Florida right now, but looking to move, and figuring I'll need to work at least PT the first year, then maybe can transition to FT school. I like your school choices, good luck to us both. What industry are you in up there?
