Additional info & updates

I received fee waivers for all the schools I applied to, which was the only reason I applied to UVA, UPenn, and Duke. Longshot on all three considering my LSAT score is below their medians, but we'll see what happens.

I wrote both optional essays for Duke. I should have written essays for UVA and UPenn, but for whatever reason elected not to.

New England, Washburn, and Loyola all sent me emails offering full tuition if I applied. We'll see if they follow through.

I'm realistically expecting rejections or waitlists from all three T14 schools and probably GWU as well .

1/6/2023: Dean of admissions at Washburn called me to let me know I'd been accepted. An email with scholarship offer followed. It is a full-tuition scholarship for all three years.

1/11/2023: Accepted via Email at New England Law. Separate email awarding me the Sandra Day O'Connor Scholarship; full-tuition.

1/12/23: GW sent me a lovely rejection email commending my professional and academic accomplishments that I would like to think isn't copied and pasted to every rejected applicant, but I'm sure that it is.
