11/17- Duke Acceptance by email.
11/24- Toby Stock Interview

12/22- In at NYU by snail mail
1/23- Penn acceptance on answering machine (Didn't write the 'Why Penn?' essay)
1/29- Actual acceptance letter from Columbia (congratulatory email before acceptance on 1/28)
2/3- Email invite to apply for Penn's Silverman-Rodin Scholarship (1L full tuition, half tuition 2L)
2/5- Phone call from NYU alum working at NOAA. Very impressive.
2/17-Phone call from UVa 1L. Definitely enjoy the outreach.
2/17- Decided to withdraw from Penn and forgo the scholarship application process (hopefully someone else will get to apply!)
3/7 - Back from ASDs at NYU and Columbia. Liked Columbia a lot more than I thought I would and NYU less than I anticipated. We'll see how Harvard fares next weekend.
3/9- Finalist for Environmental and Land Use Scholars program at NYU. One can hope...
3/25- ELU Scholarship to NYU! 37,500 over three years. Not bad, but Harvard's free third year after a PI commitment essentially equals it out.
4/11- Withdrew from NYU. Top choice coming in, but just never felt right. I'll be deciding between staying in C'ville or heading to Cambridge in the next day or so...
4/16-Harvard it is.

There is a 99.9% chance I'll see you at UVA -- unless you get in at your other top choices -- which, come to think of it, seems awfully likely! Good luck making your decision.
