Additional info & updates

3/8/06: Currently, the frontrunner is Chicago, but I'm planning on attending ASW's at Columbia, NYU, and Northwestern as well. They're all during the first week of April so I should have my mind made up soon after. I'm anxious to receive financial aid/scholarship info; I know I should hear from Chicago and Northwestern this month. I'll be withdrawing from Penn, Michigan, Cornell, Georgetown, and Duke soon.
3/21/06: Withdrew from Penn, Michigan, and Cornell. Sent update to Harvard.
4/13/06: Sent in Chicago response and e-mailed withdrawals to other schools.

Yes, KU has to be a good chance, but they are the back-up right now. Did UVA and NYU email you or was it straight up snail mail? I need to get up to Drake and check my mailbox. Hope you're having a good break, have fun in Chi-town (Jeff said you were headed that way).

Thanks

Congrats

on Columbia. Thats awesome. I'm not even complete there unfortunatly. I want to hear about your impression of the Chicago schools.

Yea

You're preaching to the choir. I'm very concerned about Stanford, Harvard, Yale. I think that means defferels or waitlists at best, and rejections potentially. I haven't heard from Columbia but went complete late. Chicago, which is one of my very top choices is just getting around to admitting RD applicants, so I'm less worried about that one. I'm really suprised you haven't heard from Boalt, and UMich, I would expect those soon for you.

my grades and a 2 page letter of continued interest giving them an update on what i've been doing. i'm not getting my hopes up though... and there's nothing wrong with Chicago or Columbia (where i am currently leaning)

Yale
Monday, November 07 2005 at 07:00 PM

I just haven't heard from Yale. I do have a later complete date. I really doubt I get in. Right now I'm leaning Harvard over Stanford. Really the only advantage to Stanford is smaller sizes and paradise. But it will be more expensive for probably a less prestigious education (slightly). I'm visiting Harvard on the 8th, and hopefully that will clear up the confusion. Looks like you're leaning Chicago???
