Additional info & updates

I applied really late in the cycle, due to a change in life plans and a Dec LSAT. Most of my applications were submitted within a day or two of the deadline as you can see above.

Final record is 4-4-5 and attending Georgetown!

8/14/09 - Withdrawing from Columbia to attend Georgetown... and I couldn't be happier. DC, here I come!

7/13/09 - Made 3rd Reserve at Columbia, but getting really excited about Georgetown...

6/9/09 - The day after re-taking the LSAT I get the letter (dated 6/5) from Columbia that I've made their 2nd Reserve. At least the LSAT wasn't for nothing!

6/8/09 - Retook the June LSAT to improve my chances on the Columbia/Cornell waitlists.

6/5/09 - After many calls, I finally got USC to email me a decision, which was a rejection. So Columbia/Cornell/Michigan waitlists me, but not even a courtesy waitlist from USC? What gives?

5/8/09 - Cornell's status checker finally went to decision, dated 5/5. I got impatient and called them on 5/8 and was told by the nice lady on the phone that I had made the reserve. Pretty exciting, given my numbers.

5/5/09 - Ding from UCLA dated April 30th. Never got notification that I was complete. A bit disappointed since it's the hometown school, but wouldn't have gone there over Georgetown anyway.

5/2/09 - Another small letter offering BC waitlist. Immediately withdrawn.

4/30/09 - Received a small letter informing me I was on "Reserve" at Columbia. Incredible! Though I know their reserve is large and getting off it list is a long-shot, there is still hope. I mean, they must have seen something or I would've gotten the auto-reject, right?

4/25/09 - Withdrawn from Notre Dame, Washington & UC Hastings. Also withdrew from Minnesota's waitlist.

4/20/09 - Rejection from Duke. Status checker went to decision on 4/14, but just received the letter today. Totally unsurprised as I submitted my application weeks after the deadline (albeit with an addendum) and I'm way out of their league numbers-wise anyhow.

4/16/09 - Waitlist at Minnesota via online status checker. Not a big deal either way.

4/10/09 - Waitlist email from Dean Zearfoss at University of Michigan. Given my numbers, that's a victory.

4/7/09 - UT's online status checker reports that "Application was denied on April 2, 2009." Followed up with a letter several days later. Not too disappointed, couldn't see myself in Texas anyhow.

3/19/09 - Called over to ND to schedule a visit next week. I told them I was already complete and still waiting on a decision. I was put on hold for a few minutes then given my decision: accepted! Another great acceptance considering my numbers!

3/5/09 - Georgetown went to decision on the status checker on 2/27. Received a small greeting card-sized envelope with acceptance to the PT program along with hand-written note from Dean Cornblatt. Unbelievable!

3/2/09 - Small letter from Hastings with acceptance!

2/6/09 - Received first acceptance letter from UW! The online status checker went to decision on 2/3 and I received a small (but thick) envelope via snail mail. I had only been complete for about a week! Now I can avoid having to do applications to my original safeties. Sweet!

Seriously, you must have some ridiculous recommendations. I applied to UWash in mid-Nov. Are you a WA resident?
