Extra Curricular Information

I suck at standardized tests.

My GPA is crap cause I did horrible the first year or so til I decided on a major that wasn't science. haha
I basically went from probation one semester my first year to a 3.7 my last semester. big turnaround, hopefully they will see that.

Student activities---the norm, nothing at all spectacular.

Worked for a law firm as their office bitch this past year. haha hopefully that will help too.

I think I got pretty great reccomendations from my professors though:)

Additional info & updates

03-02-09-- Reject Drexel...not very surprised. Small envelope...letter with 3 sentences. Thanks...but no thanks. haha

03-04-09-- Wait list New England...seriously...waitlist is like a rejections with a little tease at the end. haha. Small envelope with letter and wait list form to send back

03-11-09-- Accepted Widener...cool. Big envelope with folder and info...sent to my permanent address, good thing I was home for spring break. Least I got one. haha

03-20-09-- Reject Penn State. not surprised. small envelope with a nice long BS rejection letter. haha

03-26-09-- Accepted Appalachian...kinda figured. found out via online status checker. probably not gonna head down to virginia though.

Accepted New England...got a large envelope from New England with some info...guess they took me off wait list...but they are putting me in the PT division...dunno if I wanna do that. but a decision is due April 15th with a deposit!??!

widener's decisions and deposit is due may 1st. I feel like schools are rushing and they know that other people have not gotten all their decision yet...so what I am suppose to pay a bunch of deposits first?! what a scam.

why is everyone taking sooo long?!?! haha
I've been checking my mail everyday like a mad woman.

3-28-09-- Rejected Hofstra. Small envelope with a short letter. Online status checker is BS cause I have been checking and it says nothing still.

4-13-09- Rejected Western New England. Small envelope with a short letter. Glad I finally even got any mail!!!

5-12-09- Rejected Seton Hall...was a long shot anyway...Small envelope with short letter.

6-5-09 Rejected Touro...whatever, took them soo long I already decided on Widener.

Hope everyone has a great cycle:)!!!

We have kinda the same situation. I went from doing HORRIBLE my first 2 years to honors in the last two. But hopfeully they do take this into consideration. Good luck with everything!

I would love to go to Boston, and I did apply to the pt too.. I suppose if I had to 'get my foot in the door' and then transfer, I may consider doing so. And I thought NESL had 2 types of part-time programs, one being strictly for parents... though I may be confusing NESL with Suffolk... Don't mind me I'm just stressing out! Waiting for some answers!

Thanks! :) Have you decided yet? I'm really hoping for Roger Williams and I would like to see what Suffolk says... I hate waiting!!!
