Additional info & updates

3/22 - Got into Willamette Law with a $15,000 a year Dean's List Scholarship, renewable each year. This makes my decision really hard.

3/19 - After what feels like an eternity (I'm too impatient) I got accepted to University of Oregon via email. This was my first choice going in and I am SO EXCITED!!! I'm fairly sure this is where I will end up next year.

3/4 - Got rejected by Northeastern. Also not too big of a surprise, it was my reach school. It was a bit of a relief because I can not afford to go there and it would have been really hard to turn the program down. Now I don't have to make that difficult decision! Still waiting on the other 4 schools. The wait is killing me!

2/25 - Got accepted at University of Wyoming. Not a huge surprise, I was using it as my backup school. But it was a great way to start off the process (I was dreading starting off with a rejection straight away). I appreciate that UW is an inexpensive school so if cost becomes an issue it may win out in the end. One down, five to go!!!

2/11 - I just officially submitted my applications yesterday! I'm nervous, excited, and anxious to hear back. I feel like I have applied to a group of schools that are all very compatible with my GPA and LSAT scores. Some schools are more a stretch than others, while I think others will be a bit easier to get into. In the end, I can see myself at any of them. Good luck to everyone applying, I will hopefully see you on the other side!

Hi! Yea, you applied to all of the same schools as me except for one! The process has been painfully slow! This is my second cycle. I was waitlisted at my top two schools last time, because I literally applied the last possible day. I applied super early this year, but that just meant a lot more wait time :) Good luck and maybe I will see you at school!

Congrats on your acceptance to Oregon, still deciding between there and willamette? Double check the conditions for the scholarship at Willamette- I hear with their curve that keeping the $ can be harder than it might first appear. If your going to Oregon then ill most likely see you next year!

I'd say it really depends on if you think that scholarship will stick around. If your resident then would need to keep it about 3 semesters for them to be equal regards to $. If you have any doubts about losing it first semester then Oregon might be a better call. Then again, if you keep scholarship at willamette first year then you will most likely be able to keep it all 3 years. (from what i hear the curve is really just there to weed out 1L's) Best of luck deciding!
