Additional info & updates

02-02-09 Rejection from UConn dated 1-29, small white envelope

02-04-09 Accepted at Quinnipiac via e-mail... now I'm eagerly waiting for any scholarship offer. Interestingly, I never received notice that I was even complete.

02-06-09 Got official letter from Quinnipiac, with $10,000/yr renewable scholarship offer

02-13-09 Waitlisted at Maryland. I can't imagine I'm very high on the waitlist with a late app and the letter says they'll start reviewing WL in May, so I'll likely withdraw. I'll have to think on it for a couple days first.

02-17-09 In at McGeorge via snail mail. $5k/yr plus books as 1L for some sort of "honors" program.

02-18-09 Accepted at Hofstra via snail mail with $10k renewable scholarship

02-19-09 In at Seton Hall. No money, which doesn't surprise me b/c they don't seem big on schollies.

02-24-09 In at Rutgers-Newark via e-mail. I'll very likely withdraw everywhere else I've been accepted in the next few days. R-N is the front runner right now and can only be passed by Temple and Fordham.

03-01-09 Got my rejection from Temple yesterday, so barring a miracle acceptance from Fordham, Rutgers-Newark is the choice. Since Fordham looks to be another six weeks from making a decision and my chances are probably less than 1%, I'm sending in my seat deposit to R-N and withdrawing everywhere but Fordham.

Hey, thanks and congrats on Quinnipiac. Good luck on the rest of the cycle. As to hofstra, I rly dont know why I got the scholarship so "large". I know my softs were pretty good and my essay was up there too. Maybe thats why? IDK. I dont think i am going there anyway.

Thanks for your message and congrats on your acceptances! Seton Hall PT was THEIR decision...I applied full time and was pleased when I opened an envelope from them emblazoned with "congratulations!" In my joy I failed to see right away it was only for PT. I'm hoping for Drexel...love the school , quarter system, coop program, and location

Thanks
