Additional info & updates

Updates where useful:

Yale: Waitlisted in April.

Stanford: Accepted much to my surprise on April 9! Received my aid offer about two weeks later, around $50k for the first year (scholly total above is me multiplying that by three and dropping it a bit for any summer earnings that get factored in). Thrilled!

Harvard:

Interviewed in mid-November, felt it went fairly well. WL in March.

Chicago:

Interviewed in early January, enjoyed this one. Negotiated with a Hamilton to see what they'd give me, upped a $90k offer to $105k.

Columbia:

No interview, awarded Hamilton, very stunned.

NYU:

Applied for some named scholarships, didn't make interviews for any, so withdrew.

UVA:

Well played, UVA. Well played.

Brief recap: Generous need-based aid offer at Stanford made it less hard than I expected to turn down the Hamilton. Planning to utilize LRAP as well. Very excited!
