I'm currently working for a great start up in Chicago as an account executive. I'm also an active member of the local chapter of my alumni association and volunteer with various organizations around the city.

12/30: Applications are all finished and in. I already know my nerves are going to be shot while I wait to hear from schools. I would really love to head back to Madison for law school.

1/4: Received my status checker log-in info for DePaul and Madison. The wait continues...

1/5: Status checker log-in for University of San Diego. I'm so impatient. I don't know how long I can wait till I start hearing. I wish I knew how long it would take to hear back.

1/6: Status checker for Loyola, app received at Marquette. I'm thinking about a last minute application for Iowa right now.

1/8: Under review at Wisconsin and San Diego. I also got a request from Michigan State to write a Scholarship Statement. The statement needs to be it in by the 25th, but I will finish it this weekend. Its too snowy in Chicago to do anything anyways!

1/11: Got a fee waiver to UGA, decided to apply. Why not right? Still thinking about Iowa... cutting it close I suppose.

1/13: Statement in. Status checker info from Gonzaga.

1/24: In at Loyola! It feels good to come home from a weekend visiting friends and family to my first acceptance!

1/25: In at Miami via myUM! I think I'm going to need to schedule a visit. DePaul decision was mailed today and I'm officially under review at UGA.
1/25 (part 2): In at MSU with 50% scholarship plus 5K via phone call!

1/26: 5K Merit Scholarship at Loyola!

1/30: Came back from visiting family in WI to a 15K/yr scholarship at DePaul. I really didn't think it would take a week to get something mailed in the same city!

2/3: Denied at UGA. Not at all surprised and since I only applied because I got a fee waiver, I don't care. Checked Gonzaga and a decision was made on 1/28. If I get in I'll be withdrawing, I have better options already.

2/10: Got my DePaul T-shirt a couple days ago (yay schwag)! And today in a thin little envelope an acceptance to Marquette.

2/15: My acceptance to Gonzaga finally arrived, however, I will be withdrawing my application tomorrow. Only 3 schools left to hear from! Still holding out a little hope for some money from Miami, but it is fading.

3/8: Decided to decline my offer from Loyola. If I'm going to stay in Chicago, I'll take the more money from DePaul. Also being "held for second review" at Iowa. Still nada from Madison or San Diego.

3/22: Waitlisted at Iowa. I decided the withdraw my application since there are other schools that I am seriously considering. I REALLY would like some notice from Wisconsin or San Diego, even if its a waitlist or rejection. I also withdrew from MSU.

Found out sometime in April that I was waitlisted at Wisconsin and San Diego and decided to withdraw from both. I will attending Marquette in the fall; sent my second seat deposit in today.
