All scholarships are for all three years. Now that my cycle is over, here's a bit more information about what I heard when:

W&M: Acceptance and scholarship/fellowship came via USPS priority mail in the same envelope. I asked for a scholarship increase in April, and they gave me a small one.

W&L: Acceptance came via e-mail, followed by a small envelope via regular USPS mail. Scholarship offer came via e-mail in mid-February.

GW: Acceptance came via e-mail at the last possible moment on the ED notification deadline day. I was accepted and deferred to RD simultaneously.

BU: Accepted via phone call. Scholarship offer came with my financial aid materials in March. I did not get a separate letter for my scholarship.

UT: Accepted via phone call. My status checker did not change until a few days afterward.

U of H: Accepted via e-mail a week after my status checker changed to "decision rendered."

WUSTL: Accepted via e-mail. My scholarship offer came a week later via e-mail.

Emory: Accepted via a big envelope that came via USPS. I was able to view my scholarship on OPUS a few days before I received the letter via USPS in mid-February.
