Additional info & updates

2/2: Rec'd acceptance from Emory via email, then yellow envelope via mail the next day.

2/9: Rec'd call from the Dean on my voicemail for acceptance to UT!

2/12: In at American

2/23: Withdrawing from schools I won't attend now that I have UT acceptance. Would like to hear from T15....

2/27: W/L email from Michigan. Sigh....

3/9: Rejected from Berkeley via snail mail. Also heard today that public universities are inundated with record numbers of apps. Maybe the privates are a better bet this year? Bad news is that you have to pay for them.

3/13: Rejected from GULC , Duke and UVA. Too bad. Think I'm going to be a Longhorn lawyer after all....

3/26: Rec'd $4850 grant from UT for the first year which was nice. Haven't heard from the other 5 schools -- what's the deal?

5/21: My best advice to people applying next year is to APPLY EARLY. You will significantly improve your chances of admission just about everywhere. Take the June LSAT and apply in September or October. Very happy with UT and Austin, but I was also lucky my late application didn't adversely affect me. Good luck to everybody. Glad this is over!
