Got a phone call from Dean of Admissions at Hamline! In! : )

Got envelope from UMN LAW!! on "hold"---- very excited, thought for sure I would get rejected. I am going to work on a LOCI....

In at St. Thomas- no money?!?!?!!?!?!
Also got a shirt from them....

1.31 Got scholarship letter from Hamline, 40% of tuition, renewable over three years ($12,000 per year approximately- $36k total). It was a nice offer, I just don't think I will be attending. Thanks, though!

Got a letter from St. Thomas--- offered me the Dean's Scholarship-- $5,000 per year (totaling $15k over 3 years)

Got an email from the Dean of Admissions... I was awarded 50% tuition scholarship for 3 years! I am ECSTATIC!!!

What exactly does deferred mean at the UMN? How is it different from the waitlist? Congrats on the other acceptances.

I was just checking out your page as we have all of the same schools. Congrats on your deferral at the U... I am auto-reject, haha. I saw that you were a bit curious about when and if you'd get money from WM. A girl on another site has literally the exact same stats as you, and she said she called WM and they told her they start giving scholarships out at 156+ on the LSAT because 155 is their median. So not considering the U (because I'm assuming you'd absolutely go if accepted), where would you like to go besides that? Good luck on the U!!!

I was deferred as well. I sent them an addedum stating what I had been doing recently, along with a LOCI and a grade addedum. Apparently they enjoyed the strong response, and I was called by them today. Best of luck with the rest of your cycle, hope this helps.
