GPA Conversion
Tuesday, September 18 2007 at 08:00 PM
As far as I can tell, the LSDAS GPA conversion is the same for Canadian schools as American ones. LSDAS standardizes GPAs so that: A+= 4.33 A = 4.0 A- = 3.66 B+= 3.33 And so on. Hope that's the answer you were looking for.
The GPA listed was converted by LSDSAS, not UofT. I can't remember the exact webpage, but I remember reading that they have a pretty formal way of calculation with certain percentages being bumped up in terms of GPA equivalence. I don't think LSDSAS sends along the UofT transcript itself, but it does include stats about your ranking in terms of past applicants from UofT (I think... ^^. Can't really remember)
