I'm graduating in 3 years and I'm young to begin with - I'll be 20 at the end of January. Not sure if that's going to be a hindrance, but I guess we'll soon see!

**Scholarship offers are total amounts. Basically, half-tuition at USC and Campbell and full-tuition at Charlotte and Elon

Additional info & updates

1/8 - Got back from break today to find an acceptance letter from Elon in a big white envelope postmarked 12/19. So far, only heard from them and Charlotte (around 12/8). The scholarship from Charlotte is a full tuition renewable scholarship. **Elon later offered me a full tuition scholarship.

1/15 - Got a phone message at my permanent number today congratulating me on my acceptance at South Carolina. Have had some problems getting mail delivered to my permanent address and my acceptance was returned to them and marked undeliverable, so I don't know about scholarships yet. ***Received update from them, was accepted and offered a half tuition scholarship!

1/30 - Campbell sent me a package in a big brown envelope today, it was a leather portfolio with their logo stamped on the front and a letter with an acceptance offer and a half tuition scholarship offer inside. Yay! Excited that I don't have to interview with them.

2/19 - Wake Forest email, waitlisted

04/07 - UNC emailed, waitlisted

7/11 - Wake Forest is still stringing most everyone along, apparently, and UNC said that they wouldn't be going into their waitlist at all until mid-July (heard from both via email). The plan right now is to go to Campbell until I hear differently. Hoping the "hearing differently" from either WFU or UNC comes soon.

Getting in off the waitlist

I got in to UNC and Wake off the waitlist last year with similar numbers. It can happen but you've got to work for it.

Wake Forest

Hey there, Wake Forest actually called me to notify me that I was being accepted off the waitlist. I then attended the accepted students day and also met with their dean of admissions briefly. I asked about scholarship money and they said they would look into it. The scholarship offer came by e-mail about 10 days later. I withdrew a few days later after carefully weighing my options. Best of luck to you and I hope you get into Wake or UNC!
