Additional info & updates

I hate the date boxes on LSN :(

I also suffered from a terrible bout of insecurity was lucky enough to get a fair amount of fee waivers = blanketed almost the entire T15. LSAC processing fees nearly killed me :P

Yale: applied late, on a whim since my softs are medium-weak & I don't think I have much of a chance :(. Complete 3/11, nothing since.

Harvard: sent in late Nov, went complete late Dec but I think they were waiting for the results of my Dec LSAT. Unexpectedly got a JR1 at the beginning of March, missed the JR2 the following Monday. SUPER excited, I definitely was not expecting HLS and will likely be going there next year!

Stanfurd: sent beginning of Dec, UR begin of Jan, crickets since.

Columbia: sent late Nov, Complete mid-Jan, VCE on Chinese New Years :)
Later 40k in response to NYU's 60k. ASW and staff are nothing but friendly and awesome.

NYU: Accepted me with the old LSAT, sent end Nov and in via beautiful purple envelope 12/27. Very awesome late xmas present :)) was very excited about dt Manhattan until the $ came with a 3 week deadline, which dampened my ardor for the school considerably :(

UCB: I love Berkeley. Applied mid-late Oct, in by phone in Nov, my first big acceptance. Was absolutely delighted! Immediately texted parents "In at Boalt!", dad responds with congrats, mom thinks I've decided to go to a restaurant called boat. confusion ensues.

Chicago: cold, reputation for no fun, no merit fee waiver. decided not to apply

UPenn: applied end Nov, in by phone early Jan while I'm getting bloodwork done at the doctors. I seem to miss a lot of phone calls :P

from here on out it's mostly WL city :(

UMich: WL despite writing 3 optional essays. I guess they didn't think this cali girl could hack it in Ann Arbor. Also, got the soft 'hold-ish' email.

Duke: Priority track, and my first app in. Rejected 2 weeks later, a very confidence shaking move :(

UVa: WLed, but given their reputation, wasn't surprised

Cornell: long silence before a request for interview. Will withdraw soon.

GULC: my first acceptance! on Halloween by mail :) a very nice moment. Also, really really nice promo materials.

UCLA: took pains to apply early, was rewarded with my first WL of the season :(
