11/22: dinged from UT-Austin via e-mail at 5 am.

11/28: applied RD. found out about UVA via phone call. wrote Why UVA and am out of state.

11/29: got the Vandy package in the mail!!! so excited..loved my visit to the school. wrote Why Vandy and interviewed.

12/5: waitlisted at GW...withdrawing because there is no way i'd take it over UVA or Vandy.

12/19: rejected at Cornell. no desire to be in ithaca, but a rejection always stings.

rejected from Berkeley in late Feb after first round of faculty review.

got into IU, WashU, and Emory in February.

Was waitlisted at UMich in late March...not writing a LOCI.

4/27: Cycle is over!
Advice: Apply early and WRITE the extra essays and Why X statements for schools! I didn't write anything extra for UMich, and I think it would have helped. I think schools are willing to overlook a lower LSAT if they see you have a polished, complete application otherwise.

Will be attending Vanderbilt in the fall.
