ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

* Mizzou - in via phone call, scholarship = 93% of tuition, Stipulation of remaining in top 50% of class.

* USD - Status checker changed to "Decision Rendered" ~18 hours before acceptance email. Scholarship arrived by email ~2 weeks after acceptance, 48% of tuition, stipulation of remaining in top 75% of class. Withdrew (9 January).

* Pepperdine - email+ snail mail, no scholarship. When asked, Admissions said "position on LSAT / GPA index". Withdrew (9 January).

* Hastings - email + snail mail, no scholarship. When asked Admissions Director referenced my veteran status / GI Bill eligibility. Withdrew (9 January).

* Illinois - email w/ scholarship info (100% of tuition, no stipulations).

* UC-Irvine - in via status checker. Email later in the same day. Snail mail package 12 January. Scholarship determination (if any) to be made by March.

* SLU - withdrew (26 Dec 2018). Zero communication from admissions the entire cycle.

* Iowa -in via email. Status checker and email from financial aid arrived ~2 hours later. Scholarship information (if awarded) to be sent in ~4 weeks.

* UC-Davis - Withdrew (9 January).

Hi Mstg, Congrats on your acceptances. I am also using Post 9/11 GI Bill and due to my servicemember's length of service, tuition is 100% covered (benefit was transferred to me). If you did twenty years, that would be true for you, too. Do you have Post 9/11 GI Bill? You'd have to sign up for four more years, I believe, so that might be a deal breaker. . . I say all that to explain why some schools perhaps didn't offer scholarships. If you have Post 9/11, it doesn't matter because it will be covered anyway. Best of luck in law school!! I'm still waiting to hear if 2019 is my year or not!
