Well, I guess you broke the trend. So your status changed to "decision" and you officially got your acceptance letter 6 days later? Is that typical? Do you think they always telephone people who are accepted? I guess that means my decision, which I went to on a Monday, is probably a rejection, since I haven't received any phone call from them. Oh well. Not a big deal. Anyway, congratulations on your acceptance.
Yeah, well I got the rejection letter in the mail on Saturday. No surprise though. I really didn't want to move to Ohio anyway, so I'm not that depressed. I'm really waiting on UNLV, because that's where I'd really like to go. NIU would be OK with me as well, but I'd rather return to Las Vegas, because I'm considered a resident there anyway and the tuition and the living situation is much better. But...so be it. Have a great time at OSU.
Cooley stated that they cannot accept (nor deny) me admission until I am no longer enrolled at another law school. Since I have to be enrolled in school for financial reasons, that's not going to happen. Therefore, I am "deferred" until I am no longer enrolled at another law school. That won't happen until the end of July, since I am going to be enrolled for summer at my current law school (Kent), again strictly for financial reasons. So after I receive my summer grades and send them to Cooley, then they are going to consider me for admission. But not before.
and thanks for your message! Although my numbers seemed bleak, I decided to take a chance and step out on faith and I've done better than I could have ever expected. I'm still waiting until the end of the month to make a final decision, and ready for fall to start already! Be blessed in your decision :-)
Any advice on getting into UT? Where did you decide to attend?
