Additional info & updates

I think I am getting rejected and wait-listed from schools I should have been accepted because I was previously on academic probation. If anyone else also had this problem, you got any tips or stories?

recommend you apply to many more schools. You have a high GPA, so that should help you (granted, I don't know the circumstances behind your academic probation - sure doesn't seem like it was for your grades). Make sure you clearly and contritely address the probation in your PS or Addendum. Good luck!

I hate to see that you got rejected from Houston. Have you thought about retaking and reapplying? With your GPA anything above a 160 could easily get you into UH. 165+ could get you UT.
