Additional info & updates

3/28 - Waitlisted at Richmond. My cycle is finally over!

2/19 - Waitlisted at St. John's.

2/16 - Accepted at Villanova via status checker! I really didn't see this one coming so I have some research to do before making a decision. This makes my final decision significantly more difficult. Hopefully I get some money from them.

2/3 - Waitlisted at Brooklyn today via snail mail. The letter was dated 1/28 but I just got it today. I'm disappointed, but I kind of expected it, and it is certainly better than getting rejected.

1/27 - Received an email from Brooklyn saying my application was complete and had been submitted for review. I really hope this leads to good news!

1/25 - Accepted at Quinnipiac via small envelope.

1/19 - Complete at Cornell.

1/15 - I have been sitting at "Reviewed by committee; decision pending" at Florida since 12/8. It seems kind of like a soft waitlist for those without auto-admit numbers. Florida might not be on a pure rolling admission schedule; they seem to admit the best applicants first and then wait a bit and admit whomever is left.

1/13 - Rejected at American. That was rough

1/11 - Rejected from Fordham. Surprise!!!!! Here and Cornell were my super-reaches. I'm fine with it. Still waiting on my letter from American...

1/7 - $25,000 per year, for a total of $75,000, from Hofstra. Renewable provided I stay in the top 40% of the class. Not too shabby. Also went "Decision made" at American.

12/15 - Accepted at Hofstra! First and only decision so far. It feels great to have somewhere to go!

Congrats on Hofstra! How did they let you know about your scholarship? Did you ask them, or did they just offer it to you?

same question as the guy before me
