The first half of my undergraduate career was dismal. I was a student-athlete who also worked full-time. The second half was pretty stellar, but my GPA took a huge hit.

I wrote an addendum to highlight the upward trajectory in my grades.

Scholarship amounts are over three years.

New England Law's scholarship is conditioned on maintaining a 2.5 GPA for each of the three years.

Texas Southern's (Thurgood Marshall) scholarship has no GPA conditions attached.

South Texas admitted me from the waitlist. This school is much metter than its ranking, so I am excited about possibly going here.

I tried to really focus on writing an excellent personal statement. I had it read and re-read by six people. Even though my GPA is very old, it is very low, so I knew I would have to write my way into a lot of schools.

Loyola offered me a one-time scholarship of $15k towards my 1L tuition.
