Received my fist letter back from a law school. Thomas Cooley accepted me, no scholarship which is kind of lame. but still good!

I applied for early admissions for UC Hastings. Hastings e-mailed me today saying that the early admissions pool was filled up and that I would hear from them no later than March 15th. That is kind of a bust because I was hoping to know where I was going by february. I'm crossing my fingers for University of San Francisco...

Got rejection letter from Golden Gate...Big envelope good, little envelope bad. This is especially dishearting because by being reject from Golden Gate, I doubt I will get accepted in to University of San Francisco or Hastings....Thomas Cooley here I come (maybe....)FML

I have been thinking about applying to more schools. I submitted an application to Brooklyn School of Law. They have no application fee, you only have to pay the LSAC service fee.

Got e-mails from Brooklyn and Uni. of Pacific that my application was completed.

Received letter from Texas Southern indicating that I was placed on the waitlist. After further research to did prior to receiving this letter I already determined that I will not be attending this institution, however it still sucks that this terrible school waitlisted me.

I believe there is no chance for Hastings or USF at this point and have been researching Thomas Cooley. I will attend this law school if this is my only option.

FML........

I just checked my status checker for USF which said "decision rendered" and a letter was sent in the mail yesterday. From some research it looks like USF sends an e-mail out after they mail their letter if you get accepted. I live in oakland so I should be getting my decision today. Won't be heartbroken if (when) I am reject, sort of used to it by now. I will hope to see a USF e-mail and I will keep my fingers crossed!

I checked my mail lastnight night hoping to find a letter from USF, instead I was greeted with a Hastings rejection letter. I applied through LEOP. I am not really that suprised at this point. I don't really have much faith in getting in to USF, but I guess I should be finding out tonight. I will be researching today to find out the chances of my transferring from Cooley after my first year.

2-12-10
Received my rejection letter lastnight from USF. I will be attending Cooley in September. I recently filed my taxes and will be updating my FASA this weekend. Hopefully I will be able to transfer after my first year, if not, it is what it is!

Good Luck everyone!!!!
