I am a voice teacher, soprano soloist for Plymouth Church of Shaker Heights, a server at La Dolce Vita, and most important (to me anyway) a paralegal. I work 50 hours a week, but I enjoy life and am excited to pursue a career in law!

Happy to have an acceptance at Capital! Not totally surprised, no offer of scholarship....no surprise there either. Capital is very pricey, something that deters me from going there. But I am pleased to at least have the option of attending law school next year. They mailed it in a large envelope, to my parent's address actually. So my parents knew before me.

Saw that my status at NKU has been updated to "decision letter mailed" dated for 12/22/08! Very cool looking forward to that, not sure what to expect...hopefully an acceptance. I am not expecting to get into Case, my numbers are on the lower side for them, but they are not my first choice. I really hope I can get into CSU, but probably won't know about that until at least January. I am looking for a good education for a good price. I already owe lots of money due to my other schooling. We will see how this plays out....good luck to all!

Got into NKU. Very happy with this! Came in a regular envelope--which scared me at first. No scholarship offer.....as I mentioned before not surprised about that. Even if my numbers were better, I still would not expect much with the economy and with schools struggling this year and upcoming year.

I am seriously getting antsy here! I see others learning about CSU, Akron, and Case and I am wondering if they lost my application, I did turn it in in October. (I know they didn't but come on--they are killing me!) I am starting to see number wise that I should have a decent chance of getting into CSU and Akron, but I am pretty certain Case will have none of it. I just hope I hear something from these three school soon before I drive myself and others crazy :)

Phone call from Akron stating I was admitted! Yea! Next day I received the official email stating the same. Very happy about this.

Yesterday I received an invitation from CSU inviting me to the "admitted students" party, and I have not received a letter. I called them and emailed them and they got back to me stating that I was admitted and the invitation just beat the official letter. Awesome! So happy that I now have choices to make.
