"Hey everyone, Im Robert T. Duncan but you can normally find me around as Rob, RTD, or as the one that loses his rag on a dodgy offside decision."
I was born in Auckland, New Zealand a city of volcanoes, beaches, and rugby paddocks that will forever be more populous in my thoughts and memory than any other place. My whnau was afc fervent about its rugby: Saturday morning sessions at Eden Park or North Harbour Stadium scarves wrapped tightly around their necks, no matter the summer rain and me yelling the loudest in the crowd pretending to commentate all the tries, conversions, and thundering tackles. The All Blacks were a religion; the Super Rugby derbies were family reunions. The passion for storytelling through sport began at a young age recording radio broadcasts with an antiquated cassette tape recorder until the tape was no longer playable.

Did a degree in media and broadcast journalism at AUT, had some early experience doing commentary for club rugby and local footy games for a few community stations, but properly started doing commentary for streams in 2020 when live sport basically became a thing on the internet. Started small: reacting to All Blacks tests, Super Rugby Pacific encounters, A-League action, and Premier League action from my spare bedroom. Nothing too complex just passion, energy reaction to highlight-reel offloads, mocking some lazy defending, predicting team line-ups, and just trying to get the chat going during the bleakest 40 minutes of a 0-0 game. Since 2023-2024, the streams have taken off, I started to use larger platforms, but now its a full-time gig commentary for the Bledisloe Cup blockbusters, Super Rugby finals, NZ footies internationals, NRL action when the Kiwis roll out, T20 cricket, and the odd deep-dive analysis show. Just loving the flow building to a highlight-reel maul, going bananas on a 70-meter try, and explaining why a successful lineout theft won the game.

"I'm chuffed to be collaborating with .nz's trusted casino resource, "Cos I'm also glad to see the Top Casinos .nz crew here are keeping it real about responsible betting culture and the kind of fun factor and balance I promote in my streams."
