Extra Curricular Information

Decided to put real info/numbers up at the end of the cycle.

I had minimal work experience, but good ECs, probably one great rec and one average one, and a "terrific" or "fantastic" personal statement - the words of GW and BU deans, not mine.

Other parting thoughts/notes:

I think the reason why I didn't get any money from Emory was because I didn't thank an admissions officer during the admitted students online chat after she answered my question.

I applied FT/PT to Georgetown.

I applied ED to Michigan and was deferred and then wait listed.

Just in case there's any confusion, I went to Cornell - not Penn.

Additional info & updates

I have the lowest numbers out of all the first round Wash U acceptances on LSN. Cool.

Priority Wait List at Georgetown

Emory will be a serious contender if scholarships are similar to last year's.

Rejected from Texas after a four month wait. Checking the regular decision box because I thought their 'early decision' option was binding certainly didn't help my chances.

May 1st - Admitted to Vanderbilt off the wait list!!!! Withdrew from all other schools so it's official - Vandy Law 2012!!

Advice to future applicants wait listed at Vanderbilt: fly down to Nashville and visit. I think doing so really helped.

Actually -- your index number is slightly higher than mine at Wash U (but congrats none-the-less)!

Probably going to weigh all my options.... I've visited BU and I would like to visit WUSTL as well.

Congrats
