2/4 Received waitlist offer from GW in the mail...I suppose it could have been worse.

3/17 Happy St. Patrick's Day - I got a pot of gold from CU. Man, I wish CU placed better outside of the Rockies because I'm starting to really miss the East.

3/27 UVa status checker changed. Gulp. I would love to get waitlisted. They sent me a fee waiver, so I'm gonna feel like a real chump if they reject me- like Charlie Brown falling on his back. He just wanted to kick the football, and I just want to go to Virginia Law. That ten percent Chiashu chance is preparing me for the worst- being a chump.

3/30 First rejection- I was curious about Texas, so I used the status checker and learned to my dismay that they did not want me. With my numbers I can't say I didn't see it coming.

4/2 Thanks, UNC. I love you, but I'm wondering if you're better than GMU. GMU, I'm coming to visit, but you're expensive, and I'm hoping you'll help sway my decision.

4/3 UVa non-priority waitlist. Hope lives. We'll see. I would drop everything and immediately commit if they removed me from the waitlist. UVa, when you read this, please take note. I would love to go to your school.

4/18 Duke waitlist. Wow, I'm surprised. I expected a rejection.

4/23 Scholarship from GMU. All right, sending in a seat deposit.

4/24 Withdrawing feels good.

And now the waiting game.

5/30- Came off UW waitlist.
