rocky With your stats I think you stand a shot at getting in. UNC Law and all their programs for that matter give a lot of weight for to the gpa. This is not to say they dont wait the lsat too. I would say the selectivity of UNC is about the same as Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, etc for out of state. That being said and with your solid work expereince I certainly wouldn't expect you to be out right rejected, but I would say its very likely they will waitlist you. If that ends up being the case, I still think you have decent chance of ultimately being accepted because UNC has had a lot of admin problems and are notifying a lot of candidates late and therefore they have already made plans to attend elsewhere. Although others may argue with me, UNC is a good school, but its not what it was a few years ago or even one of the best public schools. It is however a top tier school in a really nice and economical area. I debated between UNC altimore area, but would argue UNC is just as good if not slightly better(not really enough to make a difference though) and Maryland and ultimatly chose maryland to be in the Chapel Hill is moderately priced, but if you go out 15 minutes to the surrounding areas including the newer part of durham there is a lot of nice housing very reasonable. All costs in NC are low(car insurance too). Hope this helps.
