2/25/11- waitlist emails from Duke and Michigan. Michigan's e-mail was very nice, hopeful even. maybe they're just letting us down easy?

2/17/11- Waitlisted via small envelope from University of Washington. YP maybe? Going to withdraw

02/04/11- Waitlisted at UCLA via email, sent in form to remain on the wait list. the rest of you, please check no on that form or miss the two week deadline. k thx

02/03/11- "held" at Columbia via email. i'm considering it a waitlist, whatever.

01/28/11- mom called to say "were you expecting a big box from vanderbilt??" she didn't know what good news that was!

01/14/11- got an email that Northwestern had made a decision, had to check into status checker, then download a PDF... kinda a longwinded way of letting me know i'm dinged. thankss

01/12/11- accepted at UC Hastings via phone call, full packet supposed to come end of this week/beginning of next

01/10/11- email from Georgetown saying that I am on the waitlist, not the preferred waitlist as they so graciously specified. guess this is when the bad news starts coming

01/07/10- rejected at Penn via email. no surprise there whomp whomp

12/22/10- in by email at George Washington. admission packet with scholarship info to come in mail next week

12/13/10- acceptance email from Cornell! my status checker had gone from Under Review 12/1 to 12/9 and stayed there until today's decision

12/10/10- phone call from Christine Carr, admitted to BU!! acceptance packet being mailed Monday. sooo excited, love the boston area

11/12/10- phone call from Sam Riley at UT admittimg me! status checker hadn't changed to decision and i wrote a Why UT (out of state applicant) update: scholarship is dean's scholarship with offer for in-state tuition

11/4/10- good news via snail mail from Tulane. scholly info over 3 years with 3.0 gpa. it's an exciting start! (status checker still not updated from going complete on 10/18)
